No two installations of Reportal are the same.
Reportal consists of a core set of data collection, processing and output functionality. From that basis, we seek to understand your specific requirements, and then adapt and extend Reportal to suit your context.

- Distributed collection of input data, using web-based forms, Excel file imports and CSV file templates for data integrations
- Flexible reporting entity configuration with automated aggregation of data up defined hierarchies
- Secure & powerful permissions assignable to users by reporting entity, data element and functional role
- Data Elements can be configured to be captured for specific intervals - daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.
- Easily build indicators from data elements - the calculation engine automatically applies the resulting formula
- Numerous dynamic reports in PDF and Excel format at both the data element and indicator levels
- Visualise your indicators in charts, graphs, maps (using GIS features) and more.

Customising Reportal for your context means we price as a software development project. However, building from a rich base of Reportal's core functionality, you get the best of both worlds: a highly customised product at an affordable price.

02 Who will host and maintain Reportal?
We will host and support your installation of Reportal on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform. We will bill you based on your support requirements and your usage of Azure resources (storage and compute).

What are Report's credentials?
Reportal has been developed based on nearly two decades of experience in consulting to South African public sector entities and building monitoring & evaluation systems for various government sector organisations. Much of this work has been done in conjunction with PDG, a prominent public sector consulting firm established over 30 years ago, with a long history of successful work in their M&E practice area. On projects where we need to bring in M&E expertise, PDG can assist.

What are the licencing terms when purchasing Reportal?
Firstly, we don't charge a per-seat licencing fee. To us, users are just additional records in the database - you can have as many as you like, we'll simply bill you for the storage & compute costs incurred on Microsoft Azure. If, however, you want a licence that allows you to self-host, or to customise the source code yourself, we are open to discussing this option with you.

How secure will our data be?
Reportal is hosted on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform, and all data transfer is encrypted using Cloudflare's SSL services. Users must be authenticated to access the system and can only access data that an administrator has assigned them permission to.
